The Easter Egg Hunt!

So on Saturday, our community held an Easter egg hunt for the children at the community's main park. At 19 months old, we weren't real sure how Mac would grasp the concept of collecting brightly colored eggs in a basket, but they had a hunt scheduled for the age group 0-3, so we thought we would give it a try. Before the start, Ryan tried to coach her into what she needed to do, by pointing out a section of eggs for one of the older groups of kids.

So by the time the hunt actually started, she was ready to go. She had no problem collecting those eggs and putting them in her basket.

The problem only came later when we got home and she wanted to continue to collect EVERYTHING in her basket. It wasn't until she went to sleep that I finally was able to take the basket away. As of yet, she still doesn't care what was in those eggs. The egg itself was the prize.

Yay! Baby Mac is back. I am excited to come visit in June--and really teach baby Mac to flirt. Too cute. Miss you guys.

Also...what is with the kid in prison stripes behind Mac?

Yeah...I'm not sure about that kid. Ryan was mad that he is in MacKenzie's picture.

We live close to a prison. He must've escaped! :P I'm very curious about what she decided to put in her basket at home.
